- What can Acupuncture help with - Acupuncture can treat a wide range of concerns, including Pain, Digestive issues, Sleep issues, Headaches, Migraines and Sinus issues, Women's health, Stress and Emotional imbalances.
- Are the needles single use? - Yes, we use single use sterile
needles that come in blister packs of either 1 or 10. Afterwards needles are placed in a sharps container and disposed of accordingly.
- Is Acupuncture safe - When performed by a licensed practitioner Acupuncture is considered safe, we are AHPRA regulated and trained for 4 years to obtain a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture which included a minimal of 150 clinical hours. Each year our profession is required to obtain 20 hours of continued learning.
- Can I claim Acupuncture services with my private health? - Yes, Acupuncture is recognized by the Chinese Medicine Association of Australia and you can claim directly through your insurer. You will need to check your personal health cover.
- What to wear? - You can wear whatever you want as there is privacy to disrobe though wearing loose clothing or shorts and T shirt works well. The room is nice and warm.
- How many sessions do I need? - This will be discussed in more depth at your initial appointment, depending if you have an acute or chronic condition. Acute often 3-6 sessions and chronic 8-12 session. Usually you will feel some benefits within 1-2 treatments.
